Red King Kong Shrimp Care Sheet
• Water Parameters:
• pH: 5.5 – 6.5
• Temperature: 20-24°C (68-75°F)
• GH (General Hardness): 4-6 dGH
• KH (Carbonate Hardness): 0-2 dKH
• TDS (Total Dissolved Solids): 100-150 ppm
• Tank Size:
• Minimum 10 gallons (38 liters)
• Filtration:
• Sponge filter or low-flow filtration to prevent harming shrimp
• Substrate:
• Dark, buffering substrate to maintain low pH
• Diet:
• Algae, biofilm, specialized shrimp food, and occasional blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini)
• Tank Mates:
• Peaceful species, ideally other dwarf shrimp or non-aggressive fish
• Water Changes:
• Weekly, 10-20%, with remineralized, dechlorinated water
• Breeding:
• Females carry eggs for around 30 days

Please acclimate all livestock correctly.
1. Float bag in tank.
2. Open bag and roll bag back on itself so it remains floating.
3. Add half a cup of aquarium water to the bag every 5 minutes.
4. Repeat step 3, 4 times before releasing the livestock.
