Bamboo Shrimp

Description

The bamboo shrimp isn’t perhaps the most colourful shrimp but it makes up for that in character and behaviour. They don’t eat their food like a traditional shrimp, they have fans on their front legs like feathers which enables them to catch fine particles out of the water column.

For feeding we recommend Naturholic Fan feed which is specifically designed for Bamboo and Vampire shrimp.

Because of their size they can be kept with larger tetras and rainbows but only if friendly community fish.

We recommend a minimum of 2 for a start.

pH: 6.8-7.5

Temperature: 22 – 26c

Please acclimate all livestock correctly.

1. Float bag in tank.

2. Open bag and roll bag back on itself so it remains floating.

3. Add half a cup of aquarium water to the bag every 5 mintues.

4. Repeat step 4 times before relasing the livestock.
